Happy tears. Complicated (simple) world

“There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in.” Leonard Cohen “Anthem”

Oh man! Those moments when you come to realize certain things that feel so deep and true, that you even don’t know how to put them into words.

Here I am in front of my snowy window on this 6th of March, 2018 day. It’s 2:25 pm in Göteborg. It seems these are the last days of winter. From our living room I can hear the snow melting. Drop.Drop.Drop.

I’ve had such an amazing day so far. Morning laughs with ma’ boy. Inspirational meeting with Elaine. It feels so nice when you connect with like-minded, strong and brave people who are not afraid to open their heart and follow their path.

I’ve come to realize that our only purpose in life (if it exists such a thing) is to discover we are all one. And maybe there is very big meaning to why we have hard times and obstacles in this life. The pain and suffering is an essential part of our journey. How else can we see the light and rise above our self-imposed limitations and our our ego if there would be no pain? When the pain cracks us open we always have two main choices: 1) Rise above it, learn, move forward. Evolve and support others with what we’ve learned from it. OR 2) Bury ourselves in the pain, hate everything and everyone, self-pity ourselves. Judge ourselves and others. Stop evolving and learning.Become grumpy old people.

The pain opens our hearts for something better to show up: our true self.

In reality, everything is so simple. The answer is LOVE. Love yourself. Love what you do. Love the messy parts. Love the process and enjoy the ride. Love the world with all its perfect imperfections.

Our minds just makes things more complicated than they actually are. That’s why it needs training and discipline 🙂

We all go through the same process. The only thing that’s slightly different is the narative of the story. The destination and purpose is the same: To learn how to love and embrace our true self & how to translate what we learn along the way to support and connect with other people. It’s so easy! Why do we get lost along the way? LOVE – that is the solution.

Close your eyes. Place your hands on your heart. Take a deep breath in and exhale. Again deep breath in and exhale. Feel your heart beats. Do you feel that? That is precious. You are alive. You can do anything you put your mind to if only you learn who you truly are below the surface of your ego.

Who are you? It’s only you that can answer that. It sounds like a cliche, but in order to discover that, you must first learn how to honestly, non egoistically, sincerely learn how to love yourself. And when you love yourself, you are finally going to learn what it means to love another human being. And loving is so much different than co-existing and being dependent on another person.

LOVE, my dear. That is the answer.

I’ve got happy tears. From time to time I get outside my rational thinking mind and more into myself. I am still surprised every time I discover how ignorant we people are most times. The answer is always inside, not outside. It’s not in the external validation, but from the loving, human touching, honest interactions and projects we pour our soul into. That is the answer, at least for me.

Hopefully, I will become wiser with time. Fingers crossed!

May you find yourself and your purpose in life!

From my heart to yours,

Lavinia
